Gun Control “Celebration” Ends Terribly For Joe Biden

Joe Biden is having a rough go of it lately.

He’s given numerous speeches on a range of topics that often ended in total and complete failure. Incessant malapropisms, stammering, stuttering, misrepresenting facts, and, on Monday, a celebratory speech about gun control ended in total embarrassment.

Meanwhile, Biden is receiving the worst approval ratings of his career. What’s worse, however, is that it seems progressives and the left, in general, have largely turned on the cognitively deficient president — and this proves it.

A gun-control advocate, who was invited by the White House to attend this event, shouted down the president on Monday as he gave a speech celebrating the passage of the bipartisan gun control legislation, Safer Communities Act.

Manuel Oliver, the father of Parkland victim Joaquin Oliver, stood up during the South Lawn ceremony and loudly objected to Biden’s claim that the bipartisan gun violence bill “matched thoughts and prayers with action.”

Biden was visibly shaken as Oliver began heckling and ordered the Parkland father to “sit down” before pretending to care about free speech. “Hear what I have to say,” Biden said to his security staff, who were ready to throw Oliver out right away.

Biden proceeded to outline how the legislation included funding for red flag laws, closing the boyfriend loophole, and outlawing straw purchases — measures that were proven ineffectual by a recent mass shooting in Highland Park, Illinois.

During another point in the event, Biden said that the Parkland shooting happened in 1918, 100 years before the tragedy occurred.

Remember when Biden claimed that he was vice president during the Parkland shooting and that he met with the kids from the school, even though he left office more than a year prior to the shooting?

Before the event, Oliver took to social media to announce his displeasure over Biden’s lack of action on gun control.

Biden signed the Safer Communities Act into law in late June before traveling to Europe for NATO and G-7 meetings. The law marks the first bipartisan action on gun violence in decades but gun control advocates insist the legislation doesn’t go far enough.

They will not be happy until the entirety of America is disarmed and vulnerable in the face of an increasingly tyrannical government.
