While Whoopi Goldberg is apparently “livid” for being suspended from “The View” for a little while, she’s also told some of her co-workers that she’s planning on leaving the show. And hasta la vista to her, because no one will miss her leftist rants and obvious racist viewpoints.
While Goldberg had originally apologized for spewing rhetoric about how the Holocaust had nothing to do with race, she went ahead and revoked her apology later that same day when she appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Even though Hitler literally said multiple times that he was trying to annihilate the “Jewish race,” and that he thought of Aryans as the “master race,” Whoopi ignorantly kept insisting on her television gig that the Holocaust had nothing to do with race.
According to one source, Goldberg is feeling humiliated enough that she said she might just resign. The source says, “Her ego has been hurt, and she’s telling people she’s going to quit. Suspension from ‘The View’ is like getting suspended from Bravo. The bar is very low.”
Her co-hosts are reportedly upset that she is thinking about leaving the show. Ana Navarro says that she loves Whoopi Goldberg and ‘The View.’ She says that Goldberg has been a “lifelong ally” to those in Jewish communities, that she isn’t an anti-Semite. Navarro says she is sad about the situation and how it’s turning out.
Whoopi is well-known for her politics that are extremely left-leaning. She continued to push the disturbing and obviously false like that that Holocaust was not about race because it was “two groups of white people.”
Kim Godwin, the ABC News President, immediately suspended Whoopi for two weeks for making comments that are wrong and hurtful.
“While Whoopi has apologized, I’ve asked her to take time to reflect and learn about the impact of her comments. The entire ABC News organization stands in solidarity with our Jewish colleagues, friends, and communities,” Godwin said.
Disney owns ABC, and insiders at the company are reportedly furious about Whoopi’s remarks. Who knows if this will eventually “blow over.” But you can count your bets on one thing, if this were a conservative host, they would already be canceled and banned for the rest of time. Goldberg is just lucky she’s got a free pass for being a Democratic black woman.
