Trump Clears Up Rumors About House Speaker Endorsement

Receiving an endorsement from Donald Trump is a gift every Republican lawmaker desires before the November midterm elections.

Based on the Former President’s record thus far, Trump-backed GOP candidates can almost guarantee a victory against their opponents.

Rumors have been swirling around America First circles that Rep. Kevin McCarthy is no longer in Trump’s good graces. Trump endorsed McCarthy for his House race, but as for House Speaker, the battle is still yet to be fought.

Trump was a guest on Wayne Allyn Root’s conservative talk show to discuss a falling out with McCarthy and his endorsement for House Speaker.

The Former President clarified that he has not endorsed anyone for House Speaker, including Rep. McCarthy. Many influential people in the MAGA circle continue to urge Trump to run for House Speaker himself.

Toward the end of a recent interview, Trump interjected to correct conservative talk show host Wayne Allyn Root after he said Trump endorsed McCarthy for speaker. “No, I haven’t,” Trump said. “No, no, no. I haven’t,” he added through some cross-talk. “No, I endorsed him in his race. But I haven’t endorsed anybody for speaker.”

Another look at Trump’s endorsement of McCarthy from two weeks ago will confirm no mention of the House Speaker whatsoever. Trump referred to McCarthy as a “strong and fearless Leader of the House Republican Conference.”

Tucker Carlson and other high-profile right-wingers have grown sour on Rep. McCarthy after a leaked audio recording exposed the Minority Leader’s attempt to call for Trump’s resignation after the Jan. 6 debacle.

Trump has previously disregarded every suggestion from conservatives to become the next House Speaker. The unprecedented move would turn American politics on its head — just what’s needed to correct the errors made by Joe Biden and his diet communist administration.

If Republicans “win big” in the 2022 midterm elections – basically a guarantee at this point – many believe Trump is the exact person needed to save Congress from destruction as it inches closer to passing gun control and other extreme measures.

House Speaker Trump could also initiate the impeachment of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, which if successful would lead to his reinstatement in the White House.

However, every House Speaker thus far has been an elected member of the House of Representatives, but by no means is that a requirement.
