Just when you thought the story about the Freedom Convoy couldn’t get any more inspiring, something like this happens and totally changes your perspective. The CEO of MyPillow, Mike Lindell, is sending a whole truckload of his pillows to the Candian Freedom Convoy.
Lindell, who comes from Minnesota, says that the report claiming he’s barred from crossing the border into Canada is totally untrue. He says he lacked a permit at first to cross it, but his team is now ready to head on their way to Ottawa, the Capital city of Canada, today.
Lindell says the truck carrying all the pillows will arrive in the capital city later this afternoon.
Truckers have been protesting across Canada for a number of weeks against the COVID mandates, but the center of it all is in Ottawa.
Lindell didn’t hold back in his criticism of the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, saying that he’s “an evil, evil, evil dictator.” Lindell says that he believes the protests will only end when Trudeau decides to lift the mandates he’s implemented in Canada because that’s what “99% of the people want in Canada.”
He also said, “This is disgusting what he’s done to Canada. He needs to get rid of all the mandates and open up Canada. Enough’s enough!”
Trudeau actually made history earlier this week because he’s the first leader in Canada to invoke Canada’s Emergencies Act, in a desperate attempt to put an end to all the Freedom protests.
Lindell is best known for his support of the former President of the United States, Donald Trump, and for his very vocal claims that the 2020 election was stolen with fraudulent votes.
It will be interesting to see how long the Canadian government holds out before giving in to the demands of truckers. Their economy will likely be crippled and citizens will suffer a devastating loss. But when the truckers come out on top, it will all be worth it.
