Powerhouse Of Republicans Demand Biden Submit To Cognitive Testing

Almost 40 GOP leaders are demanding that President Biden, who is now 79-years-old, take a test to determine his mental cognition, following in the footsteps of Biden’s predecessor, Donald Trump.

The push from Republicans for Biden to receive cognitive testing comes right on the heels of recent polls which show that many Americans feel unsure of whether or not Biden is mentally fit for office.

Ronny Jackson, (R-TX) a former physician for the President, joined with 37 of his colleagues in the GOP to write a letter expressing concern about Biden’s current mental state.

Jackson said in an email to Fox News, “My colleagues and I are again asking President Biden to immediately undergo a formal cognitive screening exam, such as the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA).”

“As a former physician to three Presidents of the United States, I know what it takes mentally and physically to execute the duties of Commander-in-Chief and Head of State. Joe Biden has continually proven to me and to the world that something isn’t right. The American people deserve to have absolute confidence in their President’s cognitive ability.”

Jackson says that taking the test is a big first step in helping Americans feel reassured that their president is mentally fit to sit in the oval office, and noted that it was important for helping treat any symptoms of impairment for things like Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive diseases.

Jackson says President Trump was eager to take a cognitive test when he became President, and he wonders why Biden refuses to do the same. The letter also showcased numerous examples of Biden showcasing symptoms of cognitive decline, and urged him to submit to the test as Donald Trump did before him.

The White House has not yet commented on the situation.
