Freedom-minded Americans who refused to be muzzled or jabbed by bloated bureaucratic liberal states have been fined, threatened, smeared as far-right conspiracy theorists, and generally dehumanized by the left, who is now pretending as if COVID never happened.
A grand attempt to memory hole the entire pandemic is underway by liberal Democrats who now liken themselves experts in military science and Eastern European politics. There’s been absolutely zero acknowledgement by liberals of their sudden abandonment of COVID restrictions — and those of us who opposed such measures all along are not surprised.
It was only a matter of time before pandemic hysteria no longer became political expedient for Democrats and now apparently is that time, thus showing what spineless cretins they actually are.
Joe Biden’s State of the Union address is the first major D.C. political event where masks are now optional. This development comes just weeks after Nancy Pelosi not only required masks, but even considered removing the audience altogether. It’s about the science!
Mask wearing will now be optional for those attending the on Tuesday, according to a notice to lawmakers from the Capitol’s physician.
Capitol physician Brian P. Monahan shared in a message to Congress members that KN95 or N95 masks are no longer required, making mask wearing a personal choice.

The change comes following updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released on Friday that stated most Americans were no longer recommended to wear a mask indoors.
“We want to give people a break from things like mask-wearing, when levels are low, and then have the ability to reach for them again, should things get worse in the future,” CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said.
Excuse me, but who does this lady think she is? There is no “we” in this situation. You don’t get to determine who wears a mask and who doesn’t. We’re so thankful you’ve decided to “give people a break.” Thank you, oh benevolent science expert!
The update now bases indoor mask recommendations on COVID-19 positive case levels in a person’s local area.

In addition to updates regarding masks, security has been increased ahead of Biden’s Tuesday address.
The fence that surrounded the Capitol after the January 6 riot is back up as fears of a freedom convoy similar to the recent protests in Canada have led Capitol Police to reinstall the fencing, according to a Fox News report:
In addition, National Guard members will be on-site for security at the event.
