Many supporters of Donald Trump deep down hoped that Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony was true, that the President did in fact demand to return to the Capitol as protests heightened, and that he took matters into his own hands by lunging for the steering wheel of his limo.
If the testimony were true, and it resolutely isn’t, it would prove once again Donald Trump’s unwavering dedication to his country and to his supporters — a true patriot in the face of relentless liberal attacks.
The testimony delivered by Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, has been proven to be nothing but another attempt to smear the Former President.
According to Hutchinson’s testimony, Trump became enraged with Secret Service agents when they refused to take him to the Capitol Building during the massive protest on Jan. 6. The area was deemed not secure for the President and Agents demanded that Trump be taken to a safe location.
Hutchinson claimed that Trump lunged at the steering wheel after Bobby Engel, his lead security detail, refused to drive him back to the Capitol.
“Sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel,” Engel said to Trump, according to Hutchinson.
The former aide then testified that Trump “assaulted” the agent after removing his hands from the wheel.
“I am the effing president, take me up to the Capitol now.”

That elaborate story re-told by Hutchinson caused mass hysteria on social media and amongst establishment media liberals. Meanwhile, her entire testimony has since proven to be false.
Sources close to the matter told NBC News White House correspondent Peter Alexander that both Secret Service agents in question are willing to testify under oath that President Trump never lunged for the steering wheel nor did he assault anyone.
🚨 A source close to the Secret Service tells me both Bobby Engel, the lead agent, and the presidential limousine/SUV driver are prepared to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.

Both Secret Service agents have already given private testimony to the Jan. 6 committee, seemingly corroborating Hutchinson’s fairytale, yet members of the committee didn’t play a video of their interview during the latest show trial.
Wonder why?
Rep. Raskin, however, is sticking to the story.

Trump gave a response to the allegation from his Truth Social account, saying about Hutchinson, “I hardly know this person.”
The Former President said: “She is bad news.”

Trump also noted Hutchinson’s desire to work for him after departing Washington for Mar-a-Lago following the rigged 2020 election. According to the Former President, Hutchinson requested to continue working for Team Trump but was rejected by the President himself after he heard she may have been responsible for leaking stories to the press.
The resounding feeling online is that the Jan. 6 House Select Committee has basically lost all of its credibility — as if it had any to begin with. It’s only a matter of time before the entire debacle implodes into a cloud of nothingness, especially as the country prepares to vote in the midterm elections.
